AdditionalNotes It will be a Day of XC in conjunction with our Centre Parks and Rec's Youth XC series. In the morning, there will be youth races (8 & under-2k, 9-12-3k, and 13-14 -4k). Middle schoolers would do the 4k. The HS Races will follow the youth races, Girls Varsity, Boys varsity, and Combined JV.
Tenative Time Schedule
8 & Under: 2k @ 8:30 a.m.
9 & 10: 3k @ 9:00 a.m.
11 &12: 3k @ 9:00 a.m.
13 & 14: 4k @ 9:30 a.m.
HS Girls Varisty: 10:30 am.
HS Boys Varsity: 11:15 a.m.
Combined JV: Noon
Awards: 12:45 p.m.
In addition to all of the great running, the hosts of the youth races, Olympian Greg Fredericks and All-American Liz Kisenwether, will do a brief talk before the awards ceremony on what HS cross country means to them. Greg was PA state champ in the 3200 his senior year and Liz was the first female PA state champ in the mile her junior year.
There will be meet shirts on sale as well.
Awards: Top 2 teams in the varsity races. Top 15 varsity runners. Top 10 runners in JV races.
