Kennett Field Classic

Dear Coach,
The Kennett/Unionville Track and Field Programs are extending an invitation to your track and field team(s) to compete in the Unionville/Kennett Field Classic. The meet will be held on April 25th at the Kennett Track Facilities. The meet will commence at 3:00 pm with hopes to be completed by 7:30 pm. We will have a rain date held as April 26th.
Invitational Particulars:
The Cost for the Invitational will be $50 per team or $100 for a combined boys and girls team.
Each school may enter up to four athletes per gender.
Awards will be given to top 5 athletes per gender.
PIAA officiating
This is a closed invitational, there is 9 schools invited.
Entry will be on line so that we can fight the events if needed.
Each athlete may only enter two events.
We are hoping this will help athletes qualify for Districts if it they have not already. If they have they can you this meet in better their standing.
Order of Events:
o Girls Pole Vault opening height is 8-6. Boys to follow opening height 12-0.
o Boys High Jump opening height is 5-8. Girls to follow opening height 4-8.
o Girls Long Jump and Boys Long Jump separate pits. (entry standard for Girls will be 15-0, and for Boys 19-0. No finals five jumps.
o Girls Javelin and Boys Javelin separate runways. No finals, 5 throws, Girls will only be measured over 90ft and boys over 150ft.
o Boys Shot will follow Javelin close. No finals, 5 throws, only throws over 44 will be measured. Girls Shot will follow, no finals, 5 throws, only throws over 29 will be measured.
o Girls Discus will follow Javelin close. No finals, 5 throws, only throws over 90 will be measured. Boys Discus to follow, no finals, 5 throws, only throws over 120 will be measured.
o The Triple Jump will follow the Long Jump close. No finals 5 jumps. (entry standard for Girls will be 30-0 and for boys be 38-0.
