 Jasmin Stowers (SC) leads the way in Kentucky this weekend(Photo by Don Rich)A big weekend of stellar head-to-head match-ups and intense championship meets are upon us.  While the USATF Indoor T&F Championships will capture many of the national headlines this weekend, which include a handful of prep athletes, meets in Kentucky, New Jersey and Pennsylvania highlight the weekend.Keep an Eye On...- Coward (TN) v. Stowers (SC) in 60m hurdles at UK- Alleman (NJ) v. Vena (NJ) in shot put at NJ MOC's- Price, Rankin, O'Brien, Morris, Stanley at USATF Indoor T&F Champs.- Krais, Shump, Lane compete at Penn State University

View video of the Friends' Invite 800 Meter Run by Jayson Jackson USATF Champs: Chanelle Price finished 12th in 2:08.39 and will not advance to the finals on Sunday. Georganne Way, Indiana Elite, finished 13th in 2:08.47. She was a 2003 Warwick Valley grad who won the 2003 AAA state title in the 800. Hyleas Fountain, a 2000 Central Dauphin East grad, won the long jump championship. (Photo by PennTrackXC) Top performances were recorded at the Kevin Dare Invite in the boys 200 and 1600 relay. Juan Steward, Cumberland Valley, recorded a US #2 time of 21.67 with his win in the 200 meter dash. Harrisburg won the 1600 meter relay with a 3:21.35, good enough for US #5. The DVGTCA Last Chance Meet scheduled for Friday evening at Lehigh University and the Bloomsburg University HS Inv #2, were both canceled because of the weather. The meets will not be held this year.
