Welcome to the Harrison Invite
Held October 3th 2018 @ Mingo Park.
Dear Cross Country Coaches,
Thank you for participating in the Harrison Invitational we enjoy seeing our young athletes compete and have fun too. This year it will be held October 3th 2018.
This year we will be changing the format of how you enter. All the coaches will be given a password to apply on PennTrack to sign up your team, deleting the need for excel spread sheets that we have used in the past. If you have a problem you may call us for help but your Sr. high coaches are well adept at using this system and they can also help you.
Our timing service will be the same Miles of smiles with Herb Cratty timing as usual. The cost is 110 dollars for the teams. Less than a team will be assessed 22 dollars/runner. Make your checks out to Baldwin Cross Country Club and send it to Richard Wright @ 5332 Elmwood Drive Pittsburgh, PA 15227 The course is the same with maps available on the web site 1.86 miles this is Ringgolds Jr high course. Your Jr high cross country coach at Harrison is Amanda Setree you may reach her @ asetree@bwschools.net. Maps to the park are also on the website.
Your list of events are as follows:
12 noon arrive and walk the course
12:45 PM coaches meeting
1:00 PM 7th grade girls (unlimited)
1:25 PM 7th grade boys (unlimited)
1:50 PM SELECT girls (maximum of 7 runners)
2:15 PM SELECT boys (maximum of 7 runners)
2:40 PM 8th grade girls (unlimited)
3:05 PM 8th grade boys (unlimited)
3:30 PM AWARDS
AWARDS as follows Ribbons to all participants
Team Champs Shirts for boys and girls select races (7 shirts each team) you must have a team to compete here.
Message cookies for second place teams boys and girls select race
Top 10 in select races boys and girls win shirts
First place boy & girl in the 7th grade race (shirt)
First place boy& girl in 8th grade race (shirt)
