Elite Running Track and Field Invitational 2009

Meet Information

General:
All FHSAA rules are in effect. All tents can be set up in the basketball court area. Please keep your athletes off the infield unless competing in a field event. Warm up area will be outside the stadium area. Any questions please e-mail: Rmoody13@aol .com.

There will be T-shirts for sale with the Meet Logo on the front and all the schools entered on the back of the shirt. Cost is $15.00 per shirt, supplies will go fast...you can order one online at www.elitetiming.net, there will be a discount of $3.00 per shirt.

Each field event will have a minimum mark to be measured to speed up the meet. However, we will accept the first mark and the athlete will have a chance to better that mark.

There will be early races in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200 to run all runners that did not make the top 16 in those events or what we deem as an Elite Final for those races. Times will be verified. There will not be any more runners added to these events except the 4 already allowed, these races will be scored if they get a Top 8 time. There will be a cow heat 1600m race at 9:30am, this is for any runner that is not seeded in the meet.

The running events will follow a rolling schedule with the finals starting at 3:30 pm or 30 minutes after the last preliminary race.

Individual awards will be awarded on the field following their Final. Trophies can be picked up at the conclusion of the meet in the center of the field.

Entry Procedure:
Athletes will enter online through www.flrunners.com. Registration is open now. I have this link at www.elitetiming.net.
Deadline for entries will be by 12 pm on March 19th.
You may enter 4 athletes per even t per school and 1 team per relay event.
There will be no add-ons or substitutions.
There will be scratches at the coaches meeting to consolidate heats.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
8:45AM - Coaches Meeting (press box side bleachers).
Coaches will receive a copy of the meet program, following the coaches meeting after all scratches are updated. They can pick this up at the timers tent at the finish line, They will only be available until the running events start. One copy per team.

9:30AM Running Events
Cow Heat 1600m, will not be scored...coaches any athletes that you want to run in this must show up to the starting line at 9:25AM - the races below will follow
THE FOLLOWING WILL BE ON THE SEED SHEETS
Girls then Boys 4x800 m Final (2 Sections per)
Girls then Boys 3200m - They will score if they run a top 8 time
Girls then Boys 1600m - They will score if they run a top 8 time
Girls then Boys 800m - They will score if they run a top 8 time
