Long-time track fan. Lower Merion HS sprinter who ran at States and Penn Relays Small Schools Finals in 1979 on 4x100. Teammate of PIAA champs Russell Carter (400m) and Jeff Brown (110HH, 4x100m). Fortunate to have seen in person area HS greats Carl Lewis, Leroy Burrell, Dennis Mitchell, Deworski Odom, Carlton Young, William Reed, Rod Wilson, Jeff Hill, Joyce Bates, Angel Patterson, Kim Gallagher, Taylor Ellis-Watson and most of the others since that time - but wish I had seen Tony Darden. :-(
