Abington Heights senior Tessa Barrett broke her 3rd state record in under a full calendar year on Sunday at the Susquehanna Indoor High School Invitational. Barrett ran a US#3 time of 9:45.77 to win by over a minute and 15 seconds over the field. It betters her previous state record of 9:47.73 she ran at the state meet last year. The difference between the two is that the new record was run on a flat 200 meter oval instead of the banked track of Penn State. To cap off a special week, Barrett received an invitational to the Millrose Games Mile on February 15!
