July 20 to 24 - The Shippensburg Cross Country Camp provides a great opportunity for training

and learning about all aspects of distance running from an excellent staff of coaches, collegiate and professional athletes. 

Individual and State Championship teams have attended this camp as well as individuals and teams

that have qualified for the Footlocker and the Nike National meets.  Most runs are done off the hard roads

on either the dirt roads in the Michaux State forest and on the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail. 

Campers are encouraged to follow the training plan provided by their high school coach. 

This camp is appropriate for both individuals and teams. 

 

July 20-23 - The SU Sprints & Hurdles Camp was developed in 2005 and has quickly

attained a reputation for one of the finest camps of its kind in the Northeast.

Nearly 600 student-athletes have attended this camp over the years!

Attention to detail along with a well established training schedule has been

well received by our students. Over a 4 day period, the students attend

no less than 10 skill session training periods. This camp is specifically

designed for hurdlers and sprinters.

 

July 27-30 - The SU Jumps Camp has a primary goal is to assist each athlete in learning

how to develop his/her athletic potential as it pertains to high jump, long

jump, triple jump, and pole vault. We will accomplish this with a staff of

outstanding coaches teaching the most up-to-date techniques involving

each jump.

 

July 27-30 - The SU Throws Camp was started in 2003 and has quickly gained a reputation

as one of the finest throws camps east of the Mississippi River. Student athletes

enjoy no less than 10 skill sessions which are situated over a four

day period. This camp is a hands-on throwing camp.

Eastern States XC Camp @ Kutztown UniversityJuly 27-August 1, 2014

Resident Camper - $415 includes all meals, camp shirt, lodging and top level instruction

Team Discounts: $395 with 6-11 campers from same school district. $380 with 12 or more. 

Special Guest: James Carney

 James has qualified for the 2004, 2008 & 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials. He finished 9th at the marathon trials in '12 with a PR of 2:12. Jim has run PR's of 13:23 (5,000m) and 27:43 (10,000m). He won national championships in the half marathon, 20k and represented the U.S. in World Championships. He is currently a technical representative for New Balance.

 SJVSC Pole Vaulting Camp @ Kutztown UniversityJuly 20-23, 2014

Sky Jumpers Vaulting Camps are directed by Olympic bronze medalist and former world record holder Jan Johnson. His SJVSC camps

system is legendary for offering the finest, most up to date teaching system possible in a high energy, fun atmosphere. He has coached hundreds of world

and national caliber vaulters.

Costs: Commuters - $415 Includes instruction, meals,

insurance, t-shirt, booklet, etc. Does not include room.

Residents - $495 Includes all of the above plus

room and board. Refunds subject to $50 processing

fee. No refunds after July 1, 2013 Substitutes

acceptable. No refunds if dismissed for disciplinary or injury reasons.

California U of PA Track and Field Camp: June 25-28, 2014

COMPLETED

In addition to learning world-class training techniques, campers will be taught about sports nutrition, sports psychology,
and other ways to set PR's. 
Event areas include Sprints, Hurdles, Jumps, Throws, and Pole Vault.

2-time Olympic Medalist, and American Record Holder, Hollis Conway will be at Cal U for this year's camp. He will speak Friday the 27th at 7PM.

Olympic Legend and 1964 Gold Medalist Billy Mills will be speaking during the the Cross Country Camp.
