US#23 Hatboro-Horsham girls roll thanks to their freshman stars Kerry Swayne and Brittany Sullivan. They placed five in the top 15 with a 1:08 spread, and all seven in top 21. Leading were frosh Kerry Swayne, 3rd in 18:21, and Brittany Sullivan, 8th in 19:08 on the 4.8k layout. Liz Kearins of CB West won in 17:54. For the boys, Matt Lawson went 15:15, but his team was 2nd to Council Rock South by 13. South was paced by the 10th place finish of Mike Terzyk, and with a 1-5 gap of just 47 seconds and all five runners in the top 30, they could contend for a state slot.
