Zaza finishes 4th in 110m HH FINAL! Ryan 7th in TJ final! Shearn 30:24.30 10k for 15th place!

Marshay Ryan earned an outdoor personal best in the World Youth triple jump finals to finish 7th in the competition. The Chambersburg graduate and current Auburn athlete jumped a personal best of 44-7.50 on her final attempt! "Setting a personal best in the USA jersey gave me goosebumps," said Ryan. "It is a huge honor." Ryan's personal best was achieved while nursing a hip flexor injury she picked up in Thursday's prelims. But Ryan gives credit to the USA medical staff for getting her ready. "I never got that much treatment in my life," said Ryan. "They definitely did everything they could to get me ready."

Congratulations Marshay!

For Wellington Zaza's final junior level race of his career, the Garnet Valley graduate and Liberian ended his junior career on an extreme high! In last night's 110 meter hurdle final, Zaza finished 4th and took off .15 seconds off of the personal best he set in the semifinals on Wednesday. Zaza ran 13.38 in a race that saw France's Wilhelm Belocian set a world junior record in 12.99. "I feel thankful for being here to represent my country," said Zaza. "It feels a little salty being in the race where the world junior record was set, but congrats to him.

And congratulations to you Zaza! Below is his interview after the final!
