Individual division leaders & full rankings: Week 3

The changes were few and far between this week, as five of the eight top division spots remained unchanged.

But week 3 did produce three new division number 1 spots, led by the new state leading 17:53 performance from Olivia Sargent of Pennsbury to win the George School Invitational. That performance is only five seconds off of her state meet time of 17:48 last year on a much tougher course. She took the AAA number 1 spot from idle Lauren Finikiotis of Oakland Catholic.

Nick Dahl of Germantown Friends took the top boys Independent school spot with a win in the boys race at George School in 16:02 after a comfortable opening of the race before cranking up the speed in the 2nd half. Dahl is a contender for an NXN nationals berth and 16:02 is a good start.

Jerrica Bauer of George School gave Olivia Sargent all she could handle on her home course on Saturday, leading the first half of the race before Sargent pulled away. Her time of 18:15 is her fastest time in 23 months since the 2013 William Tennent Invite where she ran 18:06.

As for the five that stayed at number 1, Griffin Mackey improved his Class A mark with a state leading 15:39.6 for 12th place at North Carolina's Adidas XC Classic! Marianne Abdalah of Vincentian Academy kept her Class A number 1 spot despite not improving on her 18:50 from Red White and Blue while winning the Slippery Rock race.
