BOYS PREVIEW

Bradford's Logan Caruso will look to defend his individual title on his home turf. The junior went 16:55 to win last season and he should be favored to take the crown again this season. The two-time District 9 champion will appear in his first invitational of the season on Saturday.

Luke Guyer of Ridgway and Christian Tanner of Smethport Area will be among the other individuals to watch. Caruso and his teammate Vinnie Bizarro will look to lead their Bradford Area squad to the team title. Elk County Catholic, though, are the defending champs, and it should be a very close race. ECC is led by Logan Hoffman and Zachary Wortman.

GIRLS PREVIEW

On the girls' side, Kane Area's Chelsea Hunt will take centerstage. Hunt, only a freshman, was a surprise third place finisher at Forest Hills behind two Saucony Flo50 Top 25 PA individuals list. She'll see a challenge from Youngsville's Brooklyn Messinger. Messinger was second in District 10 Single-A last season.

Bradford Area will be the team favorites, though. They are the defending champs in this meet. Bethany Bednez, Amanda Little and Emily Little will be the team leaders for the host squad that will look to hold off Messinger and Youngsville, as well as Coudersport for the team title.
