WATCH: Forest City's Jennifer Korty Win in New Jersey


Few runners can say they haven't lost yet this 2016 cross country season at an invitational.

Forest City's Jennifer Korty is one of them. The senior, in the midst of a terrific season, added her fourth win of the season, this time with it coming across state lines. Korty went up against some strong comepetition at the New Balance Shore Coaches XC Invitational at Holmdel Park in New Jersey. It was an NJ-heavy meet, as Holmdel Park is the site of the New Jersey state meet.

In the varsity F race, Korty ran 19:27 to take the win, 32 seconds ahead of second place Anna Wood of the Pingry School. Check out the top ten finishers in that race below.

Korty has posted wins at the Cliff Robbins Invitational, the Lackawanna County Commissioners Invitational, the PIAA Foundation Invitational, and now the Shore Coaches Invitational in New Jersey. It's been a fanastic start to her senior season and with the postseason looming, Korty appears fit an ready to make even more noise in PIAA Class-A.
