Katie Dammer is ready for next week.
The Abington Heights junior rolled to a district title in AAA by over a minute. Dammer clocked in at 18:26 to take the win. AH moved to AAA this season after spending the last few years in AA, but regardless, Dammer's time was far and away the fastest of the day for the girls.
Her Abington heights team will be joining her in Hershey for states. Abington Heights scored 51 points for the win to claim the lone state qualifying spot for AAA. Alex Scheuermann was second for AH in 19:40. Hazleton was second in the team race with 70 points.
