She's been PA#1 since the onset on the season, and, for now, there is no one stopping Downingtown West's Aislinn Devlin.
The senior clocked an incredible 17:12 in some heavy winds at Lehigh University on Friday to win the PIAA District 1 AAA race for the second straight season. That low stick went a long way to helping her Downingtown West team take second in a very competitive team battle. That qualified the Whippets for Saturday's state meet.
The time was a big PR for Devlin, who announced a few weeks ago that she will attend Harvard next fall. She was second in the state last season, so Devlin will be hungry for a state title of her own at Hershey's Parkview Course this weekend.
