So far we know two high schoolers who will be competing at the Millrose Games in February, and they both hail from Pennsylvania.
Bishp Shanahan's Josh Hoey and Unionville's Anna Juul claimed convincing wins at the AT&T Hall of Fame Invitational at the Armory in New York, automatically qualifying them for the February 11 Millrose Games at the same track.
Hoey pulled off an incredible negative split to run to the victory, winning in a US#1 4:17.63. He went through the 800 meters in 2:13.84, according to the Armory's splits and closed in a 2:04 to grab the win by nearly three seconds over second place.
In second place was Winchester Thurston's Tristan Forsythe, who ran 4:20.40---a PR both indoor and outdoors.
In the girls' invitational mile, it was all Juul. The Harvard signee ran a time of 4:52.24, a meet record by over three seconds, to take the win. Juul also negative split the race after coming through the 800 meters at 2:28.89. That is the best time in the country.
Juul, who dropped a quick mile off XC fitness last indoor, appears to be doing the same this season after an impressive fall that included a trip to Portland for Nike Cross Nationals a few weeks ago. Her teammate Madison McGovern was eighth in the field in a time of 5:20.63.

Germantown Academy's Kyle Garland continues to dazzle this indoor season. Garland cleared 6-10 in the high jump, a huge PR to take the win and a meet record in the "small school" division. His PR coming into the meet was 6-8.75 from last indoor season. He reportedly had some good looks at 7 feet.
