Ocean Breeze Invitational - BOYS FIELD RECAP
In the much anticipated duel in the boys' high jump, GA's Kyle Garland went head-to-head with Smithtown East's Daniel Claxton from New York; the US#1 vs. the US#2. After a great competition, the US#1 Claxton got the best of Garland. Claxton cleared 7-0 for the win to Garland's 6-10. Still, that's the third time this season Garland has gone over 6-10 proving his consistency in an event that is so prone to inconsistency.

Hatboro-Horsham's Nick Marino kept rolling in the pole vault. Marino won the competition, clearing 14-6. The PA#1 stayed undefeated on the season with Saturday's victory.

Th triple jump has proven to be one of the most wide open events in the state of Pennsylvania and Saturday did a lot to prove just that. PA took the top three spots in the event. Stroudsburg's Shaq Mitchell took the win with a jump of 45-1.5, just a half inch off his season best and PA#4. The current PA#1---Ahmir Johnson of Wissahickon---was second with a jump of 44-3. Imhotep's Akeem Cooper took third (43-7).

Southern Lehigh's Andrew Rochon continued his strong season, winning the weight throw with a toss of 55-11. That's just off his PA#4 throw of 57-10.25.LaSalle's Noah Walker was second in the shot put with a throw of 52-5.25.
