Crimson Tide Invitational - Meet Preview
Neumann Goretti will head to Washington DC for the Crimson Tide Invitational to race against some out-of-state competition.
Kamil Jihad is the top seed in the 800 meters, looking for a fast early-season time.
Watch for the girls' relays. They should race a quick 4x400 this weekend, following up on a strong performance in the event last weekend.
In the individual events on the girls' side, watch for Sydni Townsend in the hurdles. After winning the 300 hurdles last weekend at the PA Track Classic, she is back, but this time, she'll contest the 100 hurdles in addition to the 300s.
Freshman sensation Mykala Perry will ran fast last weekend and she'll be a serious threat this weekend in the 400 meters again. She's the top seed there.
Last weekend, Janese Lynch won both the shot put and discus at PW and she's entered in both again this weekend. She should get some better competition this week, but look for more big throws out of Lynch this weekend. Eliza Brooks is one to watch in the 100 meters.
