GIRLS' RECAP

Pocono Mountain East's Khyasia Caldwell continued her amazing senior season with some wins on Friday at Willam Allen. Caldwell jumped 19-9.75 for the win, making her last  She also won the 100 meters in 12.43.

North Penn cleaned up all over the track. Kathleen Stevenson won the 200 meters, Uche Nwogwugwu won the 400 meters in 58.93, Mikaela Vlasic won both the 800 meters (2:17.49) and the 1600 meters (5:07.41), Ariana Gardizy won the 3200 meters in 11:07.77, Anais Williams won the 100 meter hurdles in 15.77, and Lauren Follis won the 300 meter hurdles in 47.44. 

The Lady Knights also swept all three relays. Nwogwugwu also jumped 37-5.25 in the triple jump, which puts her at PA#4.

BOYS' RECAP

There were some strong performances turned in by the distance boys on Friday. Parkland's Sam Morgan went 4:24.75 to win the 1600 meters. In the 800 meters, Pottsville's Collin Ebling took the win in a time of 1:57.67. Souderton's Connor McMenamin clocked a PA#3 9:23.73 for the win in the 3200 meters.

As expected, Souderton's Stephen Scott and Wilson Area's Job Goodman went at it in the hurdles. Goodman got the best of Scott in the 110 meter hurdles, running 14.92 for the win. But Scott reversed his fortune in the 300 meter hurdles, winning in a PA#3 38.93, while Goodman was second in a PA#4 38.90.

Salisbury Township's John Reichenbach had a strong day in the jumps. The junior jumped 6-7 in the high jump, which moves him up to PA#4. He then jumped a PA#7 22-4.5 in the long jump for the win.
