WATCH: Hanna Green Place 2nd In the NCAA Women's 800 Meters

Virginia Tech's Hanna Green wrapped up a great college career on Saturday afternoon, placing second in a very competitive women's 800 meter final. The 2013 Greater Latrobe graduate ran 2:01.32, just off her PR, for runner-up honors. Oregon's Raevyn Rogers took the win in 2:00.02 for her third straight outdoor 800 meter title and fifth NCAA crown overall.

Green was in the mix for the entire race. Rogers made a move around BYU's Shea Collinsworth with about 200 meters to go and kicked to the win. Green went around Collinsworth to grab second, holding off a hard-charging Brooke Feldmeier of Oregon.

Green was third in the 800 meter final as a sophomore in 2015. She was runner-up in the event at indoor NCAAs two times as well. Watch Saturday's race above.
