Some of Pennsylvania's best tuned-up for regionals on Wednesday evening on the track at West Chester Henderson for the annual Warrior Invitational. There were three 3200 meter heats combining boys and girls.

On the girls' side, Cardinal O'Hara's Elizabeth Mancini, fresh off a AAA individual state title, ran the evening's fastest time, going 10:43 in amongst the pack. That's a PR for Mancini, who will be one to watch for a nationals qualifying spot at NXR Northeast at Bowdoin Park on November 25.

Coatesville's Brooke Hutton and Germantown Academy's Isabelle Goldstein also turned in strong races. Hutton was the second girls across in 10:55, while Goldstein clocked a 10:58 for some strong sub-11 times. Watch the top girls race in Heat 2 above.

Liam Conway of Owen J. Roberts showed he's got quite a bit left in the tank for a run at a nationals qualifying spot as well. Conway, a senior who took eighth in AAA at states, pulled away from the field around the third lap and brought it home in 9:13, a PR. Conway said afterwards that he, too, is gearing up for NXR in a week and a half.

Spencer Smucker of West Chester Henderson was second in 9:24. Smucker finished just behind Conway in ninth at XC states, and will head to Bowdoin for NXR as well. Hempfield's Christian Groff took third in 9:36 and OJR's Andrew Malmstrom was fourth in 9:37.
