Jessica Slagus (North Pocono) - Weight Throw
Two meets, two wins. 2017 closed out well for the senior Slagus. She earned wins at meets in New York in the weight throw, tossing the weight 46-3.5 at the AT&T Hall Of Fame Coaches Invitational on 12/16 and then most recently, 51-3 at the Ocean Breeze Holiday Festival. At Ocean Breeze, Slagus' throw was good enough for a new PA#1 and US#4.
It's not an event that is not contested at the PTFCA Indoor State Championships, but look for Slagus to keep finding competition in the event throughout the rest of the indoor season, which will likely culminate at New Balance Nationals Indoor at The Armory.
