Individuals Breakdown: District 10 Boys

D10-A Boys - Individuals Breakdown

It was an underclassmen party in the top 20 of District 10 Class A last fall with just six seniors making the cut. Those returning boys will be dueling it out for the D10-A crown this fall. Last year's champ, Josh Lewis of North East has moved along with his team to AA this fall, so title is up for grabs this season.

Noah Bernarding of Cochranton is the district's top returner. He was second in D10-A to Lewis last season and went on to take 21st at states. The rising junior will look to lead his very strong team to big things this fall, and it will start up front with Bernarding.

After a ninth place finish at districts, Luke Mantzell of West Middlesex ran the best race of his career a week later at states, placing 22nd, just a second behind Bernarding. We'll see if Mantzell can build off that strong end to his XC season and ride that momentum into 2018.

Troy Hart of Reynolds was third at districts last season. He'll shoot for another strong year as he heads into his junior season. The Cochranton duo of Stephen Clulow and Jac Cokley will be seniors this season and will be called on to supply high finishes for one of the top 1A teams in the state.
