Spiked Shoe Invitational (MD) - Meet Preview
Saturday will mark the cross country debut of Grace Forbes of Strath Haven. The junior has proven her speed on the track, with PRs of 2:10 (800m) and 4:54 (1600m), but she begins her XC career in Maryland this weekend. Forbes chose XC over soccer this season.
Strath Haven as a whole is a team worth watching for. The state runner-ups in the 4x800m relay from this spring should have some good firepower after the presumed lowstick Forbes with Abby Loiselle, Olivia Malley, and Ava Crawford. They are the lone PA team in Spiked Shoe this weekend.
