It wasn't your average Carlisle Invitational on Saturday.
It was a sunny day in south-central Pennsylvania, but the consistent rains caused some very muddy - and very wet - conditions for the athletes on Saturday. A sizable water crossing wreaked havoc on the course, and provided a wild obstacle. It didn't stop some great battles between some of the state's top individuals and teams.
Taryn Parks won race No. 4 on the season, while the West Chester Henderson girls made a big statement. The Downingtown West boys took the team win over the defending state champs from LaSalle. Check out meet recaps and other meet coverage links below.
