6. LaSalle & Downingtown West boys are impressive in district wins
In District 12 and District 1, a pair of boys teams look like they are capable of challenging PA#1 North Allegheny in the AAA team race.
LaSalle College put forth a perfect race at Belmont Plateau on Thursday, taking the top seven spots with an 18-second 1-5 spread and a 16:26 average on a tough course to score the minimum 15 points. Vincent Twomey claimed the individual state crown in 16:13. The defending state champions are led by group that never seems to have the same order at every race this season.
