Girls 400 Meters
Sanaa Hebron (George School) & Bria Barnes (Cheltenham) & Talitha Diggs (Saucon Valley) & Mykala Perry (Neumann Goretti)
The Skinny: The 400 meters is stacked this season in PA with four girls already running under 57 seconds. It's a freshman that is leading the way. George School's Sanaa Hebron sits at PA#1 with a 55.04 from the Armory back in mid-December. Hebron is US#4 as well. Senior Bria Barnes of Cheltenham isn't far off, though with a season best of 55.93 (PA#2). The same goes for Saucon Valley junior Talitha Diggs and Neumann Goretti junior Mykala Perry, a pair of talented and fast quarter milers.
Looking Ahead: All four girls attend school on the eastern side of PA, so it's certainly possible we'll see 2 or 3 of these girls matchup before the state meet, but all signs are pointing to a showdown at Penn State in the fast heat. Don't miss it. The frosh will be looking to hold off the upperclassmen.
