-----------

What was your most memorable race/competition?

Districts senior year was an amazing experience, defending my title in the discus and setting a district record.

Where did you face your biggest competition?

The biggest competition was at states and New Balance Nationals.

Out of all of your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?

My school district record is my favorite for sure. The previous record stood for 51 years and I was able to increase it by about 13 feet.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your athletic career in high school?

I wouldn't change a thing. My coaches and teammates pushed me to leave it all out there and have no regrets.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

Definitely my awkward "baby deer" footwork, as my coach calls it.

What will you miss the most?

I'll miss the competitive atmosphere of my team, although I plan on taking that with me to college.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?

Never let anybody work harder than you. You are blessed with a chance to compete and should make the most of it.

How have your coaches influenced your performances and your life goals overall?

My coaches have always kept me level headed. They never allowed me to feel sorry for my self or get too caught up in success.

What are your post-high school plans?

I will be attending Grove City College to major in Political Science as well as compete in track and football. Go Wolverines!

Any shoutouts?

Coach Protzman and Coach Rumbaugh made high school track a truly amazing experience at Moniteau and I will always be grateful to both of them.
