Lackawanna County Commissioners' Meet - Meet Recap
The only underclassman in the top five, sophomore Caleb Kenyon of North Pocono claimed the boys'
race at the 26 the annual Lackawanna County Commissioners' meet in 16:19.5, while Kyle Kellstrom of
Wallenpaupack was next in 16:44.7. Phoenixville Area's Gabe Puleo (16:53.7), Wallenpaupack's Seth
Brown (16:56.6) and Tavian McKenna (17:00.4) of Wyoming Valley West closed out the top five.
Phoenixville Area led the team standings with 61, and North Pocono was next with 89.
One of three sophomores in the top five, Rachel Korty of Forest City topped the girls' field in 20:24.1,
while Madison O'Neill of Phoenixville Area was next at 20:56.3. Tenth-graders Olivia James (21:01.8) of
Lakeland and Samantha Adams (21:07.2) of Valley View followed, while Nicole Zambetti of Pittston Area
was fifth in 21:17.2. Valley View had three scorers in the top 10 and defended its team title with 47
points, while Lakeland (71), Wallenpaupack (84) and North Pocono (96) followed.
