SFU Red Flash Invitational - Meet Recap
Underclassmen dominated the top 10s at the SFU Red Flash Invitational, while Mifflin County and
Westmont Hilltop claimed top individual and team honors in Loretto. Mifflin County sophomore Kylee
Cubbison won the girls' race in 20:32, while Bridget Barbato of Westmont Hilltop was next in 20:36 and
freshman Savanna Nesbitt of Bedford was third in 20:47. Westmont Hilltop had three more runners in
the top 10 en route to 40 points and the team title, while Bedford was next with 51.
In the boys' race, Mifflin County and Hollidaysburg Area each finished with 61 points to top the
standings, with the Huskies claiming the team title by virtue of a higher placing sixth runner. Nick Fetzer
of Westmont Hilltop was the first finisher in 17:01, while Brayden Harris of Mifflin County was second in
17:08. Van May of Bedford was third in 17:39 before underclassmen claimed six of the next seven spots.
