Pennsylvania XC Week 4 Meets On Tap

Council Rock Invitational - Meet Preview

The PA No. 4 Central Bucks West girls will open up their season in Week 4 at Tyler State Park for the Council Rock Invitational. Led by Julia Flood and Piper Wilson, West will be the heavy favorites on Saturday. Flood and Wilson will battle it out for the win, while teammates Emmi Simon and Grace Kolbe shouldn't be far behind. Council Rock North, Conestoga, and Wissahickon are among the other teams to watch for.

Other individuals to watch for include Northampton's Georgia Wiswesser, Wissahickon's Leah Dubin, Cheltenham's Janelle Williams, and Council Rock North's Lorena Ye.

In the boys' race, it will be a good matchup between Twin Valley and Council Rock South. After a second place finish a few weeks ago at Abington, South will be looking for the team win. Twin Valley was second at DeSales last week and has some good talent up front.

Individually, it looks up for grabs with Hatboro-Horsham's Devon Comber, Twin Valley's Noah Taylor, Pennridge's Diego Lera-Lozano, Council Rock South's Shane Goldman and Christopher Sears, and Central Bucks West's Luke Cimakasky among the top entries.
