Bowdoin XC Classic - Meet Preview
The PA No. 1 LaSalle College boys will head to upstate New York this weekend for the Bowdoin Classic. Bowdoin is the site of the NXR Northeast Regional, set for late November. There, LaSalle will look to book a trip to Nike Cross Nationals with a top two finish.
On Saturday, LaSalle is the lone Pennsylvania team in the field, which includes some top squads in the region. They are entered in the Varsity Boy II race, set to go off at 11:30 A.M. Christian Brothers Academy (NJ), Haddonfield Memorial (NJ), and Westfield (NJ) are among the other top-ranked teams in this field.
Look for the Explorers powerful top three of Vincent Twomey, Ethan Maher, and Bradden Koors to compete up near the front of this loaded field. Saturday will be a major test for LaSalle after rolling to the win at Briarwood, where the Explorers scored just 22 points.
