It was a hot day at Carlisle; race organizers moved up the Challenge races to avoid the later heat. Still, we saw some great action on the Travis Trail.
Marlee Starliper rolled to another strong race, while Cole Walker won a good one in the boys' Challenge Race. Teams made statements, too, with the State College Area girls and Downingtown West boys rolling to Challenge victories in a day that helped clear up the state situation.
