AAA GIRLS 1st 6 teams plus the next 30 non-top 6 place team finishers qualify for STATES
TEAMS
SOME HISTORY--- (of the teams who have the best shot in 2019)--UNIONVILLE was 3rd in 2018, 4th in 2017, 3rd in 2016, 2nd in 2015 and 2014, 1st in 2013 and 2012 and 2nd in 2011(That's 8 years in a row!!) and made STATES all 5 years from 2003 to 2007. - STRATH HAVEN(5th 2015 and 2016) has made STATES 8 of the last 15 years-CENTRAL BUCKS WEST just missed from 2013-2016 and they made it in 2012 and 2005. They won District 1 in 2017 and 2018!--WEST CHESTER HENDERSON qualified 7 times from 2003-2011 and made it in 2017 and 2018-DOWNINGTOWN WEST was 2nd in 2016 and got 7th and just missed in 2018- WEST CHESTER EAST has made STATES for the 1st time as a girls team last year finishing 4th.- AVON GROVE made STATES last year! PERKIOMEN VALLEY-(1st in 2016 and 3rd in 2015). OWEN J ROBERTS-(2nd 2017. 6th 2016. 4th 2015). COUNCIL ROCK NORTH(3rd 2010).
There are actually 10 teams with a legitimate chance to go to Hershey to ?eat chocolate and run the challenging State course. (Only 6 will survive!!). As always it is VERY!!! TOUGH!! making it to STATES from District 1.

In 2018 50th qualified for STATES--that meant there were 20 girls on the TOP 6 teams who would have individually made STATES. This year that number appears to be likely 21-CBW(5)-DW(4)-WCH(5)-UNV(2)-

Just to clear up the confusion for the 30 individual qualifiers, I am going to say that 6 teams' individuals will be removed. That's 21 girls 21+ 30 = 51st place likely to make STATES??? Last year's time was 19:31. It looks like 19:40 may make it this year!!??
