That's the rankings of the top 5 throwers, all over 45 feet, heading into Sunday's girls' shot put final.

Once again, Pennsylvania will showcase some of the country's finest with the 4-kilogram ball, with Maria Deaviz of Souderton Area setting the pace thanks to a series of meets that has thrust the University of Virginia signee into the conversation of the state's all-time best.
The senior is undefeated this winter in the shot put, with all of her winning throws covering at least 46-5.25. Two are over 50, with two others of at least 48-11.5.
Fifth a year ago in this meet, Deaviz is PA#3 and US#16 AT in the shot put and a big favorite heading into the weekend, with Payden Montana's meet record of 49-5.25 definitely in jeopardy. However, the other four throwers in the US top 10 should not be forgotten.
Emma Callahan has created excitement in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio with her performances this winter. The Shenango sophomore had fourth consecutive meets with at least one throw measuring 44-2 this year and is No. 2 in the country right now with her 47-11 PR. She is looking for a big improvement over last year's 11th as a freshman.
The other nationally ranked throwers include Germantown Academy senior Meaghan Toscano (45-8), Upper Darby's Kayla Thorpe (45-7.25) and Council Rock South's Siniru Iheoma (45-4). Thorpe was seventh in last year's state indoor final.
