Watch St. Joe's Prep's Walk-Off 4x4 Win From States

Saint Joseph's Prep entered the final event of the day at the March 1 indoor state meet in second place in the team standings behind Hatboro Horsham by two points.

Thankfully for Prep that final event was the 4x400 meter relay, an event the Hawks were among the top seeds in. They would need a seventh place finish in the 4x4 to tie Hatboro Horsham for the team title, while a sixth place finish or better would give the Hawks the title outright.

SJP just went out and won the whole thing, running the state's fastest 4x400 meter relay of the season, a 3.22.50, which was also a US No. 15. The final lap was thrilling with anchor leg and individual 400 meter champion Salim Epps making the pass for the lead over Cumberland Valley on the final turn.
