Individuals Breakdown
Like Class A, a number of top individuals have shifted out of AAA for this season. Because of this, between classification changes and graduations, only four of the top 20 in D12-AAA return this season and all four are from Central. Sabreeya Travis (fifth at districts last year), Elizabeth Anderson (sixth), and Michelle Tanujaya (eighth), and Sharon Kho (20th) make up that talented group.
Travis was the top districts finisher, while Anderson -- 193rd -- was the top Central finisher at the state meet. The teammates Anderson and Travis would be expected to battle it out for the district crown this season.
St. Huberts' Emma Schultz (21st at districts last year) would look to break up Central's pack near the front.
Team Preview
Last year, Central edged out Cardinal O'Hara by a single point to take the one an only state qualifying spot allotted to D12-AAA last season. O'Hara have moved to AA this year and Central would be the overwhelming favorite to earn the repeat.
Central has a talented group of returners that look like they would be unbeatable this year in AAA.
St. Hubert's and Franklin Towne Charter would look to give Central a run this fall in D12-AAA.
