Breakdown: District 12 Boys

During the month of August, PennTrackXC is giving you wall-to-wall coverage of the upcoming XC season!

While much of the season is up in the air due to the coronavirus pandemic with many invitationals getting canceled and many conferences and leagues taking non-traditional approaches to the season (or canceling all together), we're still committed to giving you all the same preview content. These rankings and previews will reflect a normal XC season. The season might not look like we're used to and it may change on the fly, but you can still look at these previews as "hypothetical."

With our rankings, you'll get an "objective," stat-based look at each PIAA district in the state, and with our breakdowns, we'll give some "subjective" thoughts on the action you can expect this fall! Keep track of all our 2020 XC preview content HERE!

------------

Now we break down the boys' action in PIAA District 12 -- the district that brings together the Philly Public League and the Philly Catholic League.

The Public League has postponed its fall season, while the PCL is still up in the air. But in the meantime, we're still giving you a preview of the action that would have played out this fall at Belmont Plateau in D12.

LaSalle College has all the tools to roll to the AAA district crown and once again compete for the state title, despite losing some talented boys from last year's team to graduation. Lansdale Catholic and Archbishop Wood would be set to duel once again for the top spot in AA and it figures to be another close one! Masterman would once again be the team to beat in A after a dominant performance last season.
