Cornwall junior Aisling Cuffe ran the 2nd fastest time ever last week at Bowdoin Park. Only Nicole Blood ran faster back in 2004. So what did Cuffe do this week for an encore? She ran the 2nd fastest time ever at Paul Short in PA, missing Aislinn Ryan's record from 2004 by 2 seconds.
Cuffe was good last year but seems to be at a whole other level this season as she strives to be one of the best in US history.
About two months after Ryan won the Paul Short Invitational she went on to win the Foot Locker National Title. She's the last NYer to accomplish the feat.
