PIAA Will Allow Spectators At State Meet

The PIAA announced on Wednesday that spectators will be permitted at the PIAA State XC Championships, set for Saturday, Nov. 7 at Hershey's Parkview Course.

Here's what the PIAA's statement reads in their latest release on state protocols:

"Four (4) Color‐coded wristbands per runner will be provided at the time of registration to each coach for their spectators.  The color‐coded wristband will correspond with the competition times associated with the classification and gender of each competing school."
Masks will be required for all spectators, as well as coaches and officials. Athletes will be required to wear mask when not competing or warming up. Read the latest release of general information for the state meet from the PIAA here.
