Watch CJ Singleton Win The 3200 On His Home Track

CJ Singleton's big junior season continued on Friday on his home track. Singleton took to the Butler Invitational on his own high school campus to take over the PA No. 1 spot in the 3,200 meters.

The Butler harrier went 9:09.42 to run away with the win against a talented field. It's his third win in as many weeks -- each of which coming in a different event.

Singleton went straight to the lead and progressively strung out the field. He quickly turned it into a solo effort, running to the win in 9:09.42. It's the fastest time in the state so far this season, topping Weber Long's previous state-leading time of 9:12.19.

Singleton started off his season two weeks ago, running a 4:11.09 in the 1,600 meters (currently a PA No. 4) at the Butler County Classic. He returned last week to go 1:55.36 (PA No. 6) to win the 800 meters at the TSTCA Outdoor Championships. He followed that up with another big performance in the 3,200 at Butler.

It's been a great season for him, as he showed off some impressive range. Surely, there's more to come.
