Cedar Cliff boys, Hatboro and Gwynedd girls crack Harrier\'s US Top 25-PA elites @ GA

Three Pennsylvania teams have cracked the top 25 in the Harrier Pre-Season polls. Cedar Cliff, which is coming back with probably its strongest team ever, is #20 US and #3 Northeast. They'll compete at the Gettysburg Invitational 9/11, Carlisle on the 25th and then at Great American on October 2nd. Defending AAA state champion Hatboro-Horsham is ranked #14 US, and #3 in the Northeast. They lost two of their top seven, but last year's top four return. Their first big meet of the season will be at the Briarwood Invitational competing against the pre-season #16 team in the US, Gwynedd-Mercy. The Monarchs are #4 in the Northeast, and have also entered the Great American race in early October.

WITH AT LEAST THESE THREE TEAMS LOOKING LIKE THEY HAVE A SHOT AT NIKE TEAM NATIONALS, IT'S GOOD TO UNDERSTAND THE SELECTION PROCESS.
