Mother Nature herself couldn't stop the boy's Varsity race at the annual Perkiomen Valley Chris Fretz XC Invitational. More than half a dozen teams showed up to race against Hurricane Ivan, and it was a race to remember. Owen J. Roberts had an incredible showing, taking 1-2-3-4 and their second consecutive team title behind senior Austin Craven, who won the race in 17:27. The Girl's Varsity race as well as both JV races were called on account of extreme weather conditions.
