NEW YORK CITY – The Shippensburg University men's track and field team competed in its second meet in two days on Saturday with several Red Raiders performing admirably at the Bucknell Winter Classic held inside Gerhard Fieldhouse.
Among the Red Raiders in action on Saturday included sophomore
Tyrek Nelson, who finished sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.57 seconds. Senior
Donnie Graybill cleared 6 feet, 2.25 inches in the high jump, while freshman
Kyle Dickinson had a triple jump of 44 feet, 9.75 inches. In the field, junior
Tappah Dinnall finished third in the shot put with a throw of 45 feet, 11.25 inches.
The Shippensburg University men's track and field team is ranked third in the Atlantic Region and sits No. 21 in Division II. The Red Raiders will compete next weekend at the Kent State Tune Up in advance of the 2010 PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, held February 27-28.
