NEW YORK CITY – The Shippensburg University women's track and field team competed in its second meet in two days on Saturday with several Lady Raiders performing admirably at the Bucknell Winter Classic held inside Gerhard Fieldhouse.

Among the Lady Raiders in action on Saturday included sophomore Jessica Yates, who cleared 5 feet, one inch in the high jump and 16 feet in the long jump. Junior Amanda Dubs finished the 200-meter run with a time of 27.60 seconds.

The Shippensburg University women's track and field team is ranked atop the Atlantic Region and sits No. 6 in Division II. The Lady Raiders will compete next weekend at the Kent State Tune Up in advance of the 2010 PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, held February 27-28.
