Nicholas Mazzeo enters his senior season as one of the top distance runners in Pennsylvania, and his resume speaks for itself. Over the past three years Mazzeo has steadily climbed the state and national rankings, establishing himself as one of the most consistent and versatile athletes in the sport.
On the track the senior boasts personal bests of 1:57 in the 800m, 4:13 in the mile, 8:31 for 3000m, and 9:04 for 3200m (9:08 for two miles). He also owns the Pennsylvania state record in the 2000m steeplechase, clocking 5:52 to etch his name into the record books. In cross country, Mazzeo proved his ability to compete with some of the nation's best last fall, running 14:52 for 5000m at the Great American XC Festival, a time that stood as the fastest in the state in 2024.
