Downingtown West
Class of 2028
Kelly comes into the cross country season as the #3 returner in AAA from last falls PIAA State Championship placing fourth as just a freshman. The now sophomore looks to contend for the state individual title this year and help tremendously in the tea title. Downingtown West lost just their sixth and seventh sticks from last years 9th place finish in the team title race. With new addition of freshman Isabella Daily West will look to contend for the team title this fall. Kelly recently opened up her season at Oakborne Relays leading her relay to a third place finish with two stellar miles legs of 5:36 and 5:37.
North Allegheny
Class of 2029
With the XC season kicking off this past weekend the freshman ran his first high school race and it was nothing short of amazing. Hirwani opened up his high school career in a sub 16 minute performance running 15:51 placing second at the HOKA Kickoff Classic XC Showcase. The now freshman is no stranger to the running scene though with PRs of 2:06 for 800m, 4:32 for 1600m, and 10:06 over 3200m from middle school.
Dallastown
Class of 2028
Navarro opened up her season at Oakborne Relays leading her relay to the win running 5:48 and 5:55 over her 2 miles. The now sophomore comes into the season as the #2 returner in AAA from last falls PIAA State Championship placing third overall.
Norwin
Class of 2028
McBride has wasted no time in his sophomore campaign shattering his previous PR of 16:32 with his season opener of 16:02 a time that would earn him a 9th place finish at the HOKA Kickoff Classic XC Showcase. McBride has now shown that he will be a serious threat come championship season this fall.
