Kyle Tracey and Alexia Tubbs earned last week's performer of the week honors. Tracey ran 16:18 to win PTXC 16 and is now the second athlete from Perkiomen Valley to win performer of the week, with Nathan Boyer winning week 2 honors.
Tubbs ran an impressive 11:13 to place second at the Cherokee Challenge in the senior race and was the top PA girls finisher in the race.
This week was a down week for PA as most teams didn't race, but for the teams that did, their performances were nothing short of elite (Polls will close Friday, September 19th at 8 am EST)

The Week's Boys Candidates:
Nicholas Mazzeo (Lower Merion) - Nick went down to Alabama to race at The Southern Showcase and dropped a jaw-dropping time of 14:40, which is good for PA #3 all-time and far and away PA #1 this year. Mazzeo placed 2nd overall in the race and will not only contend with the state's best but also the nation's best come later this fall.
Alexander Mazzeo (Lower Merion) - Alex also went down with his twin brother to Alabama and dropped a PA #10 all-time performance of 14:49 to place 4th at The Souther Showcase. This set of twins may arguably be the best duo in state history.
Laszlo Stehle-Smith (AIM Academy) - Stehle-Smith raced twice this week, running 15:32 at his league meet for the win and then 16:34 at the Briarwood Invitational for a 2nd place finish.
Carter Smith (Mifflin County) - Smith looks like he his picking up right where he left off last year in dominant fashion in his undefeated Senior year so far, winning the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational in a time of 15:24.
This week's Girls Candidates:
Berkeley Marcelis (Wissahickon) - Marcelis is having one of the most impressive freshman years in PA history. Berkely Raced twice this keeping her undefeated season alive, running a new PA #1 of 17:18 at her league meet and then 18:03 to win the Briarwood Invitational by 1:36
Nieve Keitel (Germantown Academy) - Keitel went to NJ this weekend and ran 18:12 for third overall and the top PA finisher at Battle @ Ocean County Park 2025.
Baylee Espinosa (Lewisburg Area) - Espinosa is having an impressive senior year so far, and this week was no different. Baylee won the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational in a time of 17:48, winning the meet by 26 seconds over a loaded field.
Annabel Johnson (Woodland Hills) - Johnson won the Kiski Invitational in a time of 18:37. Annabel won the race by 11 seconds.
