SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Slippery Rock University Head Baseball Coach
Jeff Messer announced Wednesday the non-conference doubleheader vs. Washington Adventist University, postponed from March 16, has been rescheduled for Monday, March 22.
The Rock and the Shock will meet in a 1 p.m. twinbill at Jack Critchfield Park.
Those games are the fifth and sixth straight home contests on The Rock schedule. SRU entertains Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division rival Clarion in 1 p.m. doubleheaders Friday and Saturday.
Friday's games were originally scheduled to be played in Clarion but were moved to Slippery Rock because of unplayable conditions at the Golden Eagles' home field. Clarion will be the home team for Friday's twinbill.
SRU currently owns a 6-10 overall record and an 0-4 mark in PSAC-West action. Clarion took a 1-3 overall record into a Wednesday doubleheader at Pitt-Johnstown and will be playing its first PSAC-West games of the season against SRU.
Live stats and live audiocasts of all four games vs. Clarion will be available via the "Listen Live" and "Live Stats" links on the front page of this Web site, www.RockAthletics.com.
