LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Shippensburg University senior Donnie Graybill was named the 2010 PSAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Year on Thursday morning by conference officials after voting was conducted by the league's coaches. It is the second consecutive year that Graybill has achieved this prestigious award.

Graybill defended his conference title in the heptathlon at the 2010 PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships by scoring a school-record 5,092 points, an effort that ranked fourth in Division II. He was named the 2010 PSAC Field MVP of the indoor meet after his conference title in the heptathlon, a second-place finish in the pole vault and a fourth-place finish in the high jump.

At the 2010 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships, Graybill made up five spots on the final day of the meet to finish in fifth place in the heptathlon to become Shippensburg's first-ever All-American, either indoor or outdoor, in multis competition.

Overall, Graybill scored 5,072 points, just 20 points off his school-record point total at the PSAC meet and a 517-point improvement from his performance at last year's NCAA Indoor Championships. He is just the eighth indoor All-American in school history and the first since Nate Reider finished fifth in the weight throw in 2007. He is one of just three indoor All-Americans over the last 10 years.
